THIERRY BRUET, born in Paris in 1949, has been a painter and sculptor for over 40 years, offering opulent paintings with classical inspiration that are witty, satirical, and finely observed, using traditional oil painting techniques. His works blend caricature and grotesque elements with elegance and refinement.
He has exhibited his works under the patronage of the French Ministry ofCulture in Metz, at the Musée "Thiers" under the patronage of the Institut de France in Paris, at the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris, and in solo exhibitions in Paris, Luxembourg, Palm Beach, London, Vancouver, Ibiza, and Palm Beach, among others. He also participated in Art Fair Paris in 2012 and 2013 and SHContemporary Shanghai in 2014.
Thierry Bruet is also regularly commissioned by some of the greatest French decorators such as Alberto Pinto, Frédéric Méchiche, Pierre-Yves Rochon...
His works can be found in the private collection of numerous collectors around the world, as well as in many prestigious locations such as:
